Influenza Testing

If you have any of the following conditions you do not qualify for Influenza test

  • Pregnant or Breastfeeding 

  • Immunocompromised State 

  • Long- term aspirin therapy in patients < 19 years of age 

  • antiviral agent for influenza prescribed currently or within the previous two weeks 

  • Any Condition requiring supplemental oxygen therapy 

  • administration of the intranasal influenza immunization (FluMist) within the previous 2 weeks

Strep Testing

If you have any of the following conditions, you do not qualify for a Strep Test at our pharmacy. Please call your doctor or visit an urgent care clinic. 

  • Pregnant or Breastfeeding.

  • Immunocompromised conditions such as cancer, HIV/AIDS.

  •  If you are taking Immunosuppressant medications, including steroids for greater than two weeks.

  • History of rheumatic fever, rheumatic heart disease, scarlet fever, or GAS-induced glomerulonephritis.

  • Antibiotic therapy prescribed for sore throat or upper respiratory infection within the previous 30 days.
